Gravelotte Emerald Mine (Cobra Mine)
Gravelotte, Limpopo
Historic emerald mine that operated from 1929 to 2002 and was reportedly the world's largest emerald mine in the 1960s. It was bought by URA Holdings in 2023 with plans to restart production; it is a working mine site, not a tourist venue.
