Annecke Malaria Institute memorial

The commemorative wall erected in 1970 at the entrance to the former malaria research institute that Dr Siegfried Annecke founded in 1931. Its bronze statue of Annecke was stolen in January 2023.

Bass and carp fishing on Tzaneen Dam

Tzaneen, Limpopo

The dam is known for carp and Florida largemouth bass. Anglers can fish from Jetty 3 at the Tzaneen Boat Club, reached via Aqua Park, for a small entrance fee.
